Defined Contribution Analyst
The Benefit Practice is an established retirement plan consulting and actuarial firm, with offices in Connecticut and Florida. We specialize in providing customized retirement solutions to our clients that best fit their current situation and future goals.
The Benefit Practice currently has openings, at an entry level for both our Stamford, CT and Maitland, FL offices, for ambitious individuals (with strong math skills) who can work both independently and with members of a team. This is a position where the right candidate can learn and grow rapidly within the organization.
As a Defined Contribution Analyst you will be working on and learning all aspects of 401(k) and Profit Sharing Plans, specifically:
- Contribution Allocation Design,
- Nondiscrimination/Compliance Testing,
- Plan Trust Accounting, and
- Government Tax Filings.
Our team of consultants will provide mentoring and training in the 401(k) industry that can lead you on a path to a very challenging and beneficial career!
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong math and written skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Microsoft Excel)
- An education concentration in: Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Finance or related field.
- Minimum education requirement: Bachelor’s Degree
