We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Smartpress team! In this role, you will develop a reporting and metrics dashboard that monitors Smartpress product pricing and margins for our 100 print products that are sold online through Smartpress.com. You will recommend and implement regular pricing changes and updates, responding to market conditions, competitive pricing, seasonality and other external and internal factors while also tracking competitive intelligence in the online printing industry across both large and small format e-commerce providers. In addition, this role will develop pricing strategies for new products and other data-driven activities as needed across the Smartpress division.

- Bachelor’s Degree in software engineering, data analysis, statistics or equivalent experience
- 2 years of Python experience or similar data analysis development tools

- be technically savvy with computer skills. Must have advanced data analysis skills and data visualization experience

In this position, you will:
- deliver data and reporting solutions and services that support the Smartpress leadership and marketing teams.
- partner with internal stakeholders to recommend pricing updates that optimizes job margins with revenue, overall job counts, and maximizes conversion rates for online sales.
- collaborate with marketing to conduct in-depth research to identify new product pricing strategies and competitive pricing.
- determine the most appropriate data collection and methodologies for evaluating pricing effectiveness and identification of recommended changes.
- understand the competitive landscape of online print providers including pricing strategies, discounts, and changing price points for similar products.
- optimize online product pricing to support long-term growth plans and maintain a competitive edge in the online print industry.
- collaborate with internal estimating and production teams to streamline how we price custom jobs and complex projects.
- evaluate and implement data analysis tools, internal systems, and third-party software to automate and enhance data analysis.
- assist with data analysis for the Smartpress business including marketing and customer order data to find broader trends and business opportunities.
- perform miscellaneous projects and complete various tasks as requested by management.
