We are currently looking for a Medication Technician 11:0pm-7:00am shift for The Blake at Pensacola
Primary Responsibilities of the Medication Technician:
- Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
- Assures medication management program is provided in an accurate, professional, and effective way according to The Blake standards and state regulations.
- Must understand and be able to provide explanation about the medication dosage/pharmacology when needed Distribute prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records.
- Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
- Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.
Requirements
- Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
- Current Medication Technician License issued by the state
- CPR/First Aid, preferred
- Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
- Experience working with older adults preferred
