What are the responsibilities and job description for the BARTENDER - OCEAN HOUSE position at The Breakers?
The Bartender greets each guest with energy, enthusiasm and a friendly demeanor and prepares and serves beverages in a timely, accurate and professional manner. Reads guests' individual needs, connects and converses with guests to provide personalized service and creates a memorable bar experience for all guests. The bartender maintains organization and impeccable cleanliness of the bar and work area and adheres to food safety standards. Opens bar and sets up for service, takes drink orders, prepares all beverage orders according to The Breakers standards, rings all orders on the point of sale system, handles payment accurately, maintains responsibility of the restaurant bank including handling cash sales, employee tip out and bank drop.
Overlooking our two southernmost pools, this restaurant mixes the charm of a Floridian cottage with the inherent cool of a modern beach house. Step onto the welcoming, wrap-around porch and explore the inspired daytime menu: colorful salads, baguette sandwiches, sliders topped with fresh crab and lobster, and our house specialty: key lime pie.
