Role: Studio Manager
Reports to: Director of Operations
Position Summary: The Studio Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the studio, which includes managing facilities and programs. The role involves building and maintaining positive relationships with customers and ensuring the smooth functioning of the studio. Additionally, the Studio Manager will be responsible for managing membership processes, coordinating events, and recruiting and training new instructors.
Responsibilities:
Establish and Maintain Business and Customer Relationships:
- Build and nurture positive relationships with customers and business partners.
Provide reports to management about customer needs, concerns, interests, competitive activities, and opportunities for new products and services.
- Stay Updated on Best Practices and Trends:Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and promotional trends to ensure the studio remains competitive.
- Membership and Rental Management:Process membership payments and handle contractual agreements related to studio rentals.
Manage the studio's database, adding new members, and maintaining an updated mailing list.
Calendar and Event Management:
- Ensure the accuracy of the online and print class calendars.
- Schedule, coordinate, and promote special events to attract and retain customers.
Instructor Recruitment and Training:
- Recruit new instructors who align with the studio's values and mission.
- Conduct onboarding and training for new instructors to ensure high-quality instruction.
Skills:
- Proficiency in using sales and fitness center software programs.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong prioritization, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage relationships and be receptive to feedback.
