The Budd Group is looking for someone with staffing or HR experience to join our Raleigh, North Carolina team. The ideal candidate is personable, hard-working, a self-starter, and willing to go the extra mile for our amazing frontline team and customers.

Job Details:
  • This is a unique opportunity to get in with an amazing team and culture and grow your career. 
  • Shared Services Staffing Specialist 
  • Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM Monday-Friday 
  • Location: Raleigh, NC, and willing to travel between local customer sites as needed 
Position Responsibilities:
  • They will work hand-in-hand with the shared services team with a focus on recruiting.
  • Assist with the recruiting of qualified candidates through direct recruiting, referral programs, internet, advertising, and community involvement. (Applicant Tracking System, job fairs, and other opportunities).
  • Manage all onboarding tasks when hiring new employees such as processing employee paperwork and electronic documents promptly and accurately.
  • Create and maintain employee files according to company standards and legal requirements.
  • Conducting and reviewing background checks as well as administering drug tests.
  • Will conduct New Hire Orientation.
  • Tracking the progress of branch openings 
  • Maintain a clean, warm, and friendly environment in our front office.
  • Greet visitors who come to our office in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Assist and support current employees in logging into the company employee engagement platform, pay stub, or employee portal.
  • Processing HR-related updates in our Applicant tracking system such as terminations when applicable.
  • Manage office supply levels and make orders with the company Staples account.
  • Maintain Room Reservation calendar for our office
  • Will also be a backup for recruiting staff members in their absence 
  • Other duties as assigned by your manager
Required: 
  • 2 years of experience in staffing, HR, or recruiting 
  • Self-starter with the ability to solve problems on the fly 
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills 
  • Valid Driver’s License 
Preferred:
  • Fluency in Spanish 
  • Prior knowledge of principles and practices of human resources.
  • General knowledge of computerized HRIS.
