Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) with a focus on oncology. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of MSL experience and a strong background in oncology. As an MSL, you will serve as a bridge between our company and the medical community, providing scientific and clinical expertise to healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scientific Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in rare diseases, staying current with the latest research, clinical developments, and treatment guidelines.
- KOL Engagement: Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals to support the exchange of scientific information and insights.
- Medical Education: Develop and deliver scientific presentations, educational materials, and training programs to healthcare professionals, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is provided.
- Clinical Support: Provide clinical support and expertise to healthcare providers, addressing inquiries related to our rare disease therapies and offering guidance on patient management.
- Data Dissemination: Communicate clinical and scientific data to healthcare professionals, ensuring a clear understanding of our products' efficacy, safety, and appropriate use.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including clinical development, medical affairs, regulatory affairs, and marketing, to support product development and commercialization efforts.
- Field Insights: Gather and report field insights to inform strategic decision-making, identify unmet medical needs, and support clinical development initiatives.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with regulatory guidelines, company policies, and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent) in a relevant scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Strong knowledge and experience in oncology, with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex scientific information.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively within SE to meet with healthcare professionals and attend scientific conferences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM systems.
