What you will be doing
- Assist management in organizing independent protective and constructive internal audits for the Company.
- Responsible for the day-to-day generation and filing of documents from the operating departments in preparation of maintaining compliance with Title 31, and Personal Identifiable Information.
- Organize and file compliance records, audits, and reports.
- Assist with revenue verifications and compliance audits as needed.
- Study and review procedures for BSA and Title 31 compliance, and comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements that could impact the company’s operation.
- Provide administrative support by implementing systems, procedures, and policies, completing projects.
- Educate staff on compliance guidelines, requirements, and standards, and enforces adherence.
- Report compliance issues, risks, and potential violations to Director of Compliance.
- Explore new, innovative opportunities and recommend ways to minimize risk to management.
- Prepare letters for management as needed.
- Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate for this position
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Two (2) years of experience as a compliance coordinator; or similar role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
- Minimum of two years of gaming related work experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of compliance issues and understanding of risk management practices.
- Demonstrate technical abilities in data processing/spreadsheet & database systems.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively resolve issues and to initiate, design, implement and document required business processes.
- Strong organizational skills to be able to manage multiple priorities and follow through on commitments.
- Strong oral/written communication skills, and ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
- Must be able to obtain the appropriate state occupational gaming license.
