Job Title: Marketing Associate
Division: Infrastructure
Location: Columbia, SC
Type: Full-Time; May be eligible for hybrid work schedule after successful completion of training; some local travel and occasional out-of-town travel will be required
Hiring Range: $36,000 - $46,000 annually (commensurate with directly applicable experience)
Commitment: One-Year Commitment to The Cason Group
Our Marketing Team supports The Cason Group by developing marketing materials, coordinating events, and completing various projects related to external Public Relations and Internal Communications. As a Marketing Associate, you will assist in developing and delivering communication strategies, projects, and events to promote The Cason Group and our services and solutions.
What Our Marking Associates Do:
- Create and Design: design, write, and publish the companys internal and external communications (emails, newsletters, presentations, flyers, etc.); coordinate podcast planning, creating, and distribution; assist with updating website content with up-to-date carrier news, webinars, and other relevant information; support requests for special projects, including video and/or photo shoots
- Analyze and Report: analyze and run reports on data from online engagement through various virtual platforms (TCG Website/WordPress, Google My Business, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instragram, Twitter, etc.)
- Execute Events: serve as point person in planning and hosting special events; ensure details at assigned events are executed timely and according to plan and budget; provide support in execution and attendance at all company-hosted conferences
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelors degree in communications, marking, graphic design, or related field preferred
- Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with graphic design layout, formatting, and competent writing (AP style)
- Experienced with basic social media tools and analytics, including: LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Google My Business, WordPress, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy of project execution along with compliance of deadlines for a variety of deliverables
