Description
The Rep Development Program (RDP) provides in-depth career training to our future Sales Reps. While in the program, activities include formal training in both business and professional development while learning the insurance industry in a client facing role. The Trainee will also have consistent and regular meetings with senior leadership and other thought leaders. Successful completion of the RDP (typically 18 months) will result in placement as a Sales Representative/Regional Consultant in a regional sales office.
Essential functions
· Train in TCG departments as directed. Learn all aspects of positions and be able to perform duties and assist in departments as needed.
· Pass the certifications inside of the RDP and perform with excellence in meeting departmental metrics.
· Earn the Life and Health license
· Maintain a current knowledge of products, carriers, quoting requirements; prescreening, underwriting guidelines and TCG procedures across multiple departments.
· Train with Sales Reps on prospecting, appointments and advising agents and clients.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· A three-year commitment to The Cason Group
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
· Ability to influence and persuade others
· Ability to develop and deliver sales presentations.

· Must have strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Must work well in a team.
· Must be computer literate and have knowledge and experience with email and database systems.

WORKING CONDITIONS
· Working conditions are normal for an office environment. The employee must be able to move in the office, distinguish information that is relevant to the essential functions, and communicate clearly with coworkers and clients. The essential functions described above may be subject to change at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.
· Work requires travel to current and potential clients. Must possess a valid state driver’s license and be willing to work a flexible schedule with occasional overtime. Potential for overnight travel and relocation.
Salary : $49,900 - $63,200
