What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager QIDP position at The Center for Pursuit?
POSITION SUMMARY
In support of The Center’s mission and values, this position is responsible for supervision and training of direct support professionals on their assigned case load, providing program coordination and monitoring for all clients on assigned caseload, monitors the delivery of each consumers Annual Plan. The Program Manager is responsible for monitoring the delivery of ICF or ALF Program Services and ensures that staff are meeting programmatic responsibilities towards the consumers served; training direct support professionals and other program staff as well as contracted staff on changes in program and program issues. This position is the front line supervisors for the direct support professionals. This position requires on call coverage 24 hours during the week with participation in a weekend/ holiday rotation with other program coordinators. Some travel and long irregular and evening/ weekend work may be encountered.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelors degree in a social service area is strongly preferred. Must have experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. A BS/ BA degree in a human services discipline is required for all QIDP positions.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in managing similar programs serving people with developmental disabilities or those needing similar services.
Special Training/ Skills: Excellent leadership, verbal, and writing skills.
Licensure/ Certification: CPR required upon hire and annually thereafter. Valid Texas Drivers License in good standing.
