Job Purpose This is a professional position responsible for the scheduling, training, and coordination of MCFI Pediatric Skilled Nursing (PSN), in addition, this position is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the fleet of vehicles are maintained and cleaned properly.

- Manage day to day functioning of PSNs transportation program including managing schedules for drivers and ensuring coverage for staff absences.
- Adjusting transportation routes as needed to meet the needs of the program, families, and staff, and coordinating communication regarding transportation changes to families and staff.
- Serve as liaison between customers, drivers, and admin team.
- Assist with the management of compliance requirements for drivers and vehicles.
- Manage billing and ride management.
- Practice and promote safety in the workplace and while operating motor vehicles. Attend departmental and agency-wide safety briefings and training sessions as required.
- Routinely perform route driver audits and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal safety of the vehicles for the drivers and others and maintain the weekly sanitation of interior/exterior appearance of the vehicles.
- Will collaborate and assist with all levels of personnel within the program to achieve common goals including adapting to changing business needs, conditions, and work responsibilities.
- Promote a positive image of the agency by maintaining professional workplace appearance and conduct.
Qualifications
Required Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure and Credentials: (Where appropriate, education and/or experience may be substituted)
Minimum Required Education: High school diploma (bachelors degree preferred)
Minimum Required Experience:
1. Previous experience coordinating/scheduling drivers.
2. Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities.
3. Experience with training.
Required License Certification Registration:
Issued By Governing Body (if applicable):
Travel outside of office : up to 40-50% travel in the communities we serve
Required Valid Drivers License: Valid Wisconsin drivers license.
Required Auto Insurance : vehicle liability insurance in accordance with Agency policy if driving own vehicle
Knowledge Skills Abilities:
Pass pre-employment physical examination, pre-employment and ongoing randomized drug screens throughout the employment period, TB test and background check.
Ability to successfully complete all required driver/customer service representative trainings within 90 days of hire, including: Defensive Driving, vehicle evacuation procedures, two-way communication procedures.
Able to respond to emergency situations in accordance with training received.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal directions and speak and write in a clear concise manner.
Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and accurately and promptly communicate customer concerns to the manager as needed and act as a leader for other drivers.
Knowledge to use work related equipment and applications, computers, photo copier, Microsoft Office including Excel, teams, and navigation system for vehicles.

Physical Requirements, Visual Acuity, and Work Conditions:
Physical Requirements: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Reaching, Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. Safely transport a client in a wheelchair on a level floor or wheelchair ramp in various weather conditions.
