JOB: HR Generalist
LOCATION: Bellmawr, NJ
SCHEDULE: New employees will work in person in the office for a 30-60-day period then transition to a hybrid schedule which includes 2 remote working days per week

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR related field
- Experience with ADP, Microsoft 365, Word and Excel
- Knowledge of HR processes and systems.
- Possess valid driver’s license with properly registered and insured vehicle.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Working to obtain or obtained HR Generalist or higher Certification.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- To subscribe to the Children’s Choice policy, requirements and suggestions regarding demeanor, professionalism and working attire
- To obtain a minimum of 40 hours of formal training per year specific to this job to include first aid and CPR training
- To ensure that the HRIS database is updated for new hires, terminations, changes and performance actions
- Recruit, interview and assist in the hiring process for the agency all positions below Program Coordinator
- To assist in the administration of agency benefit plans: Unemployment Compensation, Worker’s Compensation, Advance Education Training Reimbursement
- Complete unemployment compensation reports as requested by chain of command
- Report workplace injuries and accidents to the insurance carrier and track status of claim
- To reconcile benefit invoices and prepare documentation for approval each month
- To gather documentation, process timesheets in ADP and prepare the payroll sheets for approval
- To ensure that personnel files are checked on the first day of employment and to periodically audit files in preparation of state audits
- To assist in the annual 401k audit and benefits open enrollment processes
- To prepare for and participate in monthly supervisory meetings and staff meeting
- To assist with agency-wide communications from the Human Resources department as assigned by chain of command.
- Provide HR training during New Employee Training Week and 1st day.
- To act or advise on behalf of HR Director in his/her absence and at the request of the CEO
- To teach, supervise and evaluate HR Assistant and Staff Recruiter.
