Position Overview:
The job profile for this position is Agile Product Manager Sr. Advisor, which is a Band 4 Senior Contributor Career Track Role.
Agile Product Management serves as the internal voice of the customer, defining Program Backlog in business terms via program epics and supports epic decomposition into features. The position is responsible for the scope of work that the Core Systems Platform and its respective Agile Release Train's (ART) will complete, and the vision and roadmap for the Platform. This position will also align on the role of relationship management with one or more Value streams to represent Core Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Works with the Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and Experience Group Owners (Product Management) to initiate the delivery activities necessary to realize the business benefits of initiated Epics
Responsible for managing initiated Epics and ensuring the defined acceptance criteria is achieved
Works with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to define the Epic and its potential value, establishes the Cost of Delay (CoD), and identifies business sponsors; responsible for acceptance of the Epics
Works with the delivery teams to size the Epic and provides input to the economic prioritization based on a Weighted Shortest Job First (WSJF) model
Provides guidance to the ART(s) on the Epic prioritization and the context of the target Features
Participates in Program Increment (PI) Planning, System Demo, and Solution Demo
Works with aligned stakeholders (Value streams) to review progress and make scope or priority adjustments via backlog adjustment processes
Required Experience/Qualifications:
Experience working with technology teams, or interest to learn how to work with technology teams
Experience translating business needs into actionable business rules and requirements
Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills
Desired Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or 7 years of experience in Healthcare environment
Solid business skills and experience, with in depth understanding of business functions and capabilities supported by the components of the claim pricing and reimbursement process
Knowledge of claim systems, billing and banking systems, provider systems, and Government business preferred
