Sr. Broadband Management Analyst

Pay Range: $75,314 - $97,908 annually

Workdays & Hours: FLSA Exempt position. Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm; some evening/weekend work required. Hybrid on-site work model available with supervisory approval; staff required to be on-site at least 2 days per week (management required to be on-site 3 days per week).

A Sr. Broadband Management Analyst position is available with the City of Fort Worth IT Solutions Infrastructure Organization. This is a new position that will be responsible for managing all things concerning the Public/Private Partnership to deliver Broadband services throughout the City of Fort Worth. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Public Administration, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Four (4) years of experience in analysis of processes, procedures, operations, systems or methods, including experience in the functional area of assignment such as budget/financial management, research analysis or related experience.
• Candidate selected for hire must pass a Criminal Background Check for CJIS.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Grant management for Local, State, and Federal sources.
• Relationship management with complementary organizations
• Experience working to build and deliver a Digital Navigator program. 

The Sr. Broadband Management Analyst’s job responsibilities include:

• Working with CFW FMS grants personnel to effectively apply for and administer the grants programs that are specific to this function. Including reporting requirements for both state and federal programs.
• Capturing metrics for the delivery and operational functionality for the transition to the Fort Worth Fiber Broadband solution. This includes assisting where needed with the permitting process and monitoring progress for delivery. Will include circuit performance and Diversity Equity delivery.
• Working with the vendor and internal organizations to develop the Digital Navigator program for assistance to the community in enrolling into the ACP (Affordable Connectivity Program) specifically developed for the underserved. This work will include the development of programs that enhance digital literacy such as those provided by the CFW Library department.
• Monitors and contributes where needed to possible impactful legislation with the TXBDO and the State Legislature, working internally with the CFW Government liaison. Will also participate in the challenge process and the TXBDO rolls out the full Broadband funding delivery structure.
• Coordinate activity and participation of City departments outside IT in the Fiber Network Construction and Digital Equity programs. 
• Working with other municipalities to support overarching legislation and feedback for the Texas Broadband Delivery Office.

Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) Background Check

Applicants for this position must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) fingerprint-based background check and maintain CJIS eligibility.  Due to CJIS requirements related to system access, the following will result in being disqualified for this position:  Felony Convictions, Felony Deferred Adjudication, Class A Misdemeanor Conviction, Class B Misdemeanor Convictions in the last 10 years, Class A Misdemeanor Deferred Adjudication, Class B Misdemeanor Deferred Adjudication in the last 10 years, an Open Arrest for Any Criminal Offense (Felony or Misdemeanor), and ALL Family Violence Convictions regardless of class.
