Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
  • Design the long term CooperVision - North American Talent Acquisition strategy & Lead CooperVision's Talent Acquisition strategy
  • Design and implement recruitment and selection processes and policies
  • Manage the full life cycle recruitment activities for CooperVision in the Americas
  • Manage a team of US-based recruiters with a focus on continued growth and development
  • Design and ensure appropriate implementation of CooperVision's Employee Value Proposition strategy; lead integrated effort with other regions within CooperVision
  • Design an aggressive insourcing strategy to supply long term talent pipeline needs
  • Partner with HR leads; lead workforce planning and employee forecasting needs and developing proactive strategies to recruit and fill
  • Responsible for Talent Acquisition vendor/agency relationships, inclusive of assessing effectiveness and impact on business results
  • Lead the implementation of consistent selection practices, ensuring hiring managers have all the necessary capabilities
  • Ensure use of various traditional and non-traditional recruiting techniques and recruitment tools to the fullest capability
  • Enhance diversity recruitment efforts and programs
  • Collaborate globally with Talent Acquisition specialists on recruiting best practices
  • Analyze recruiting metrics; provide insights/analytics to HR and the business
  • Drive results, ensuring that staffing activity is meeting/exceeding client requirements
  • Contribute to the development and consistent execution of best practices in staffing and recruitment using labor market analysis
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations
  • Conduct training with new managers on Talent Acquisitions processes
  • Effectively execute on various Talent Acquisition projects
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Thorough understanding of all federal and state regulations affecting areas of recruitment and selection and remains current with changes in employment laws
  • Experience working with all levels of management to determine recruitment and hiring strategies
  • Experienced with developing candidate pipelines through proactive measures
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence and problem solve
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Demonstrated success working within highly matrixed global organizations
  • Experience managing Talent Acquisition vendor relationships
  • Experience managing and developing a Talent Acquisition team
  • Prior recruiting experience, including recruiting for senior level roles within an organization
  • Skilled at analyzing Talent Acquisition data to develop and drive solutions
Work Environment:
  • Normal office environment
  • Sedentary to light physical activity
  • Significant computer work required
  • Flex schedule to accommodate business needs
  • Some travel may be required
Experience:
  • 10 years of talent acquisition experience with the ability to develop and execute hiring strategy
  • 5 years managing experience supervising and developing a talent acquisition team
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources or related field
