Responsibilities
- Work with major gas / electric utility system and address its forestry needs
- Inspect transmission utility rights of ways and identify vegetation incompatible with state and federal regulations
- Collect and enter data on handheld devices, follow maps and use GPS navigation
- Communicate with landowners regarding work on or near their property
- Assess all terrain, habitat, and environmental conditions
- Coordinate with project managers, planners, and vegetation crews
- Up to 15% weekday, overnight travel required
- Other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
- Clean DMV driving record and ability to drive and operate a 4x4 vehicle
- Ability to work and hike in rugged terrain and inclement weather
- Minimum of 1 year of utility vegetation management experience
- International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist or has ability to sit for the exam within the first 8 months of hiring
