**Position Overview:**  

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Teacher to join our team at Daycare Academy Bozeman. The Lead Teacher will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of our students. This individual will create a positive and engaging learning environment, implement developmentally appropriate curricula, and guide children through crucial stages of growth and discovery.

**Roles and Responsibilities:**

- **Curriculum Development:** Develop and implement a comprehensive and innovative curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards, promoting social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

- **Classroom Management:** Create a welcoming and organized classroom environment conducive to active learning, where each child's unique needs and interests are supported.

- **Instruction and Engagement:** Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons that stimulate curiosity and foster critical thinking skills, ensuring the holistic development of each child.

- **Individualized Support:** Identify and address the individual learning needs of students, adapting teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

- **Parent Communication:** Maintain open and transparent communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress, milestones, and any relevant classroom activities.

- **Team Collaboration:** Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to plan and execute school-wide events, projects, and initiatives that enhance the overall learning experience.

- **Behavioral Guidance:** Implement positive behavior management techniques, modeling appropriate behavior and teaching conflict resolution skills to students.

- **Assessment and Evaluation:** Conduct ongoing assessments and evaluations of student performance, using data to inform instructional decisions and individualized learning plans.

- **Professional Development:** Stay current with the latest research, trends, and best practices in early childhood education through continuous professional development.

**Qualifications:**

- Experience as a lead teacher

- Strong understanding of child development theories and best practices

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

- Proficiency in creating a positive and inclusive classroom culture

- Knowledge of relevant educational technology and resources

- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
