What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Manager position at The Delegate Hotel?
Cypress & Oak, the restaurant at The Delegate Hotel is hiring for a full-time Restaurant Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Employee management including hiring, training, and terminations
- Positive style of customer service and engagement
- Purchasing and inventory management
- Ensures clean, safe, and consistent food preparation
- Schedules staff within labor budgets
- Oversees the financial performance of the store
- Conducts food and labor cost analysis
- Establishes restaurant business plans by surveying restaurant demand
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge base on current trends
- Develops and manages ongoing safety and sanitation protocols
- Conducts daily and weekly reporting, and monthly P&L reconciliation
- Fully participates in company initiatives
- POS system management
- Participates in local marketing
Preferred Experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent (college degree)
- 4 years of customer service experience, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry
- Restaurant experience a plus (fine dining)
- 5 years of supervisory/management experience
