Automotive Body Technician

Requirements:

• 2 years body shop repair experience in all phases of body repair (structural, light, medium, heavy, welding, repairing, frame and unibody straightening, and analysis of secondary damage).
• Heavy structural collision and frame experience is a must.
• ICAR or ASE certifications in auto body repair, painting, and estimating are a plus.
• Excellent attitude and enjoys working with others in teams.
• Neat and organized work habits.
• ICAR Mig Welding certification is a plus
• A high school diploma or equivalent is a plus; Vocational Certificate in Collision Repair is a plus.
• Capable of reading and comprehending automotive repair procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Repair damaged vehicles using appropriate tools, technologies, and ICAR procedures to restore vehicles to pre-accident/damaged state, factory specifications, and customer satisfaction.
• Perform all body and fender repairs utilizing welding, body alignment, and structural operations.
• Disassemble and Assess any supplemental vehicle needs, labor, parts, and communicate with the estimator.
• Always perform quality repairs and notify management of any substandard processes, parts, or procedures.
• Communicate with appropriate personnel regarding any issue which may cause a repair delay to a vehicle.
• Always maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to all OSHA/EPA requirements.
• Maintainability to handle job stress and effective interaction with others in the workplace.
• Perform all job duties requested from management.
• Cooperates and assists other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

• Commission pay
• Signing bonus
