What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front of House Team Member position at The Downtown Deli & Market?
Greeting customers upon entering. Taking orders. Explaining our unique menu. Creating a positive customers experience. Packaging orders to go. Communicating customer issues with the kitchen or management (though if done right, there shouldn't be many.) Taking orders to customers at their tables, ensuring that the order is correct. Must learn and understand our menu which changes daily. Clearing tables. Keeping dining room clean. Helping kitchen staff as needed including, but not limited to, washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, creating food, general clean-up.
