Responsibilities:
- Facilitate communication between care teams by managing inbound and outbound calls, emails, and faxes at our call center
- Promptly respond to patients’ and our care teams’ inquiries
- Manages large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
- Scheduling appointments
- Obtain and update patient demographic information. Address any changes of patient’s information in computer database
- Scans updated paperwork into Electronic Health Record (EHR) under correct tabs; including documenting phone notes when appropriate.
- Entering clinical messages or questions into the electronic health record system
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and computer skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Friendly, personable demeanor
- Detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task
- One year of experience in the medical field is preferred but not required.
