Provider Collaboration Director

Position Title: Provider Collaboration Director Job Description: Remote Monday - Friday 8-5 Lead Elevance’s strategic relationship with providers on value-based programs, payment innovation initiatives, and collaborative programs across all lines of business. How you will make an impact: Oversees the development, negotiation, and maintenance of strategic provider groups with a focus on value-based agreements. Align long-term physician pricing/reimbursement strategies for Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial lines of business with Elevance’s value-base programs. Oversees the development, maintenance, and reconciliation of physician risk contracts and capitated arrangements in partnership with internal support teams such as Finance, Healthcare Economics, and Value-Based Operations Share and explain performance quality metrics and reports to provider-partners based on the clinical and financial impact of performance. Create and execute strategic plan to move targeted providers up the value base spectrum. Collaborate with the payment innovation team by identifying payment innovation gaps and engaging in appropriate provider partners for solution. Knowledge of regulatory requirements for Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid lines of business. Minimum Qualifications: Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in contracting (value based, shared savings and Accountable Care Organization (ACO) development), provider relations, provider servicing; experience must include prior contracting experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experience Experience using financial models and analysis to negotiate rates with providers preferred.
