The Role:
The Food & Beverage Manager works closely with the Food and Beverage Director, Executive Chef and Food & Beverage leadership team to innovate and execute Couvant restaurant operations, property activations, bar programs, recruiting, staff training and development, Banquets and In Room Dining.
The Day to Day:
- Supervise, guide and direct Food and Beverage employees.
- Role model elevated guest service and are active on the floor during service.
- Ensure that Food & Beverage employees are trained and flawlessly execute elevated and accessible service.
- Assist with Human Resources objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining Food and Beverage employees.
- Oversee all food and beverage operations inclusive of Couvant, Press Room Lobby Bar, In Room Dining and Banquets daily restaurant and banquet operations, establishing and maintaining dining room and banquet policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with Director of Food and Beverage and Executive Chef on achieving financial objectives by forecasting, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions.
- Create a fun, respectful and hospitality-minded environment for both our internal and external guests.
The Skill Set Needed:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Food and Beverage leadership
- Time Management
- The ability to respond to inquiries, handle complaints and create a sense of satisfaction to employees and guests.
- Experience in meeting deadlines and multiple priorities of business demands as required. Possess basic knowledge of business contracts
- Ability to excel in a high demand environment
- Able to excel daily working in a collaborative and autonomous environment
- Prior experience in culinary field or any similar combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of safety programs and regulations.
- Read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Basic computer skills, including spreadsheets, word processing and email.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
