Kitchen Director

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Team Member to join our team. As a Kitchen Team Member, you will assist in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment as well as oversee compliance with DOH and sanitary regulations . This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic food service setting.

Duties:
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and marinating meats
- Cook menu items according to recipes and guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area
- Assist with dishwashing and cleaning of kitchen equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Follow all food safety protocols and regulations
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Skills:
- Food service experience
- Ability to help with various tasks in the kitchen
- Knowledge of banquet or catering operations is a plus
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and equipment
- Understanding of food safety regulations and practices
- Experience in the restaurant industry or as a cook is beneficial
