Now Hiring Mechanical Assembly Technicians to help manufacture, install, and service wind turbines for our customers all over the world. Strong mechanical aptitude required for this role.
Mechanical Assembly Technician Responsibilities
• Ability to assemble electrical & mechanical components in accordance with work instructions
• Ensures compliance to quality and workmanship standards
• Operate all manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely.
o Follow Process Work Instructions, Manual production processing, Fit and assemble parts into complete assembly (such as bolts, screws, shafts or bearings)
o Learn safety and quality improvement processes. Clean and organize work area according to 5S requirements
o Demonstrate ability to meet production standards on specific tasks within the required time. Contribute to the achievement of team goals
o Complete tasks with a high level of Safety and Quality standards
• Required to be Safety-Minded. Will safely do the right thing every time, without being told
o Be a reliable team member by showing attendance within the requirements
o Lift, position, and/or remove material from work areas
o Load, stack and transport materials by hand, truck, crane or jib
o Follow work process instructions specific to job task
o Adhere to Production Worker Instructions (PWI)
• Collaborative and effective team player and able to work with teams
• Mechanical and Electrical Assembly (such as mounting wires, cables and terminations)
Mechanical Assembly Technician Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and assembly skills
- Extensive knowledge of various hand and power tools
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Completion of on-the-job training may be substituted for experience requirements
• Established work history of at least one year in preferably manufacturing
• Experience working on team
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment
• Set a good example of personal integrity
• Ability to communicate effectively on the job
• Use measuring tools and gauges
Schedule:
Monday- Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm
Pay $20.50/hr
Salary : $21 - $24
