The Purpose:

The purpose of this position is to supervise, provide and coordinate nursing care in compliance with Community policies and procedures and to assess residents' care needs and take appropriate action

Responsibilities:

• Provide quality nursing care to residents in order to maintain or attain the highest practical level of functioning
• Coordinate total nursing care for the residents as per nursing licensure
• Supervise that certified nursing assistants, certified medication aides adhere to standard job requirements and follow Touchstone-Communities policies/procedures/programs, state regulations and federal regulations
• Follow resident specific plans of care to promote accurate documentation for reimbursement purposes

Qualifications:

• Must have a current and valid Texas LVN license or a current and valid LVN license from a Compact Party State.
