Job Description
The Enrichery is seeking a communicative, organized, entrepreneurial, and enthusiastic Office Manager Assistant! We are currently looking to hire for our Katy Freeway location (9111 Katy Freeway, 77024).
Responsibilities
- Graciously welcoming parents and students when they arrive at the office.
- Answering the phone to take messages for the Office Manager to attend to during the following day. Checking scheduling email account periodically for any scheduling-related emails that come in in the evenings and/or weekends; updating Academic Coaches of time-sensitive changes to their schedules.
- Assisting the Office Manager with administrative tasks, including keeping the office organized and clean and maintaining inventory of our textbooks, supplies, and snacks; ensuring that the office is tidy at the end of each day; completing light cleaning as needed (such as wiping down desks, vacuuming, emptying trash bins).
- Updating spreadsheets as needed to track student hours/attendance.
- Checking the weekly session calendar on our scheduling system to ensure there are no double bookings for clients or Academic Coaches. Utilizing scheduling software to update Coach calendars to reflect any time-sensitive changes.
- Assembling welcome bags/gift bags for new students and/or for special occasions such as holidays or before major tests.
- Proctoring mock ACT, SAT, and/or ISEE exams (typically on Sunday mornings during the school year).
- Assisting with The Enrichery's social media posts by providing photos/content as requested.
- Creating employee profiles on a Canva template for new employees to be added to our website.
- Training new hires for the Office Manager Assistant position as needed (typically only once or twice a semester).
Requirements
- Friendly demeanor with strong communication skills; comfortable talking to clients on the phone.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multitask.
Hours
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 5:15 pm-9:30 pm and Sundays from 9:30 am until 5:30 pm.
- This is a seasonal/school year position needed from early August until the end of May. Training for this position would ideally take place during the first week of August.
- *Note that we are still open during most school holidays.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 26 per week
