Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to room reservations, pricing, and market trends to make informed pricing decisions.
- Pricing Strategy: Implement pricing strategies to maximize room revenue, occupancy, and profitability in line with the hotel's goals.
- Forecasting: Utilize historical data and market insights to develop accurate demand forecasts and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor and analyze competitor pricing and market trends, adapting strategies to remain competitive.
- Reports and Recommendations: Generate reports, presentations, and recommendations for the management team to support decision-making.
- Distribution Management: Manage distribution channels and online travel agencies (OTAs) to ensure optimal market reach.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and reservations teams to align strategies and meet revenue objectives.
Qualifications
- Must hold valid authorization to work in the USA.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in revenue management are a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in revenue management, data analysis, or a related field is preferred.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
- Pricing Knowledge: Understanding of pricing strategies and their application in the hospitality industry.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with revenue management software and data analysis tools.
- Communication: Effective communication and presentation skills to convey insights and recommendations.
