Job Title: Human Resources Director | Reports to: CFO | Location: 30003 SW 197th Ave, Homestead, FL 33030
Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned HR Director to lead our Human Resources department in a fast-growing medical marijuana company. This position will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management in a dynamic environment, including identifying and implementing improvements to the department, recruitment, employee engagement, retention, benefits administration, compensation, compliance, and employee relations. This position presents an exciting opportunity to work closely with company leadership: reports directly to the CFO with dotted lines to CEO and COO.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the company's overall strategy and values; provide day-to-day onsite support for employee issues personal, interpersonal, etc.
- Collaborate closely with C-Suite and other leaders within the organization to understand recruitment needs and support their HR needs within their respective teams
- Collaborate closely with Legal and Compliance department heads to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to HR and cannabis industry
- Manage recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring
- Develop and oversee employee onboarding and training programs
- Develop and maintain compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent
- Create and implement performance management systems, including setting goals, providing feedback, and conducting performance evaluations
- Maintain employee relations by addressing employee concerns, conducting exit interviews, and maintaining a positive work environment
- Ensure the HR department's compliance with internal and external audits and regulations
- Manage and mentor HR staff, including providing guidance, feedback, and training
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred
- At least 8 years of experience in HR management, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and compliance
- Experience in the cannabis industry or a highly regulated industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations, including state and federal labor laws, and familiarity with OSHA, EEOC, and other regulatory agencies
- Proven ability to manage and develop HR staff, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and provide excellent customer service
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
The Flowery offers yearly (or performance based) evaluations per the company's discretion. All full-time employees automatically qualify for benefits, PTO & Paid Holidays after their probationary period; which is 30 days. Starting wages are determined by several factors including experience.

- 21 years of age or older
- Can actively pass a level two federal background check
- Obtained their Bachelor's in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
