Position Overview: As an Entry Level Event Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of various events. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and organization of events, including venue selection, vendor coordination, and logistics management.
- Assist with on-site event setup, including arranging seating, decorations, and audiovisual equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and attendees, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Assist in managing event budgets, tracking expenses, and preparing financial reports.
- Assist in post-event activities such as gathering feedback, analyzing event success, and compiling event wrap-up reports.
- Contribute creative ideas and suggestions to enhance the overall event experience and achieve client objectives.
- Maintain organized event files, documents, and databases, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of information.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Event Manager or senior team members.
Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software is a plus.
