Quality Control Supervisor

The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Quality Assurance department. This involves interpreting all submitted documentation, ensuring that parts are made correctly, and making sure parts are done with inspection in time to ship for the deadline.

Essential Job Functions:

• All essential job functions of a QA Tech
• Interpret customer requirements (1st article samples, CPK studies, plating/passivating, etc.)
• Interpret and process part documentation including but not limited to time sheets, SPC, travelers documents, and customer rejections/returns
• Work with customers and vendors to ensure their needs are met
• Train new hires in alt areas of Quality Assurance Department
• Purchase inspection equipment once approved by operations manager Attend production meetings
• Follow the production schedule to meet part deadlines
• Supervise all others in the department
• Follow the 5s outline for lean manufacturing
• Support continuous improvement
• Practice preventative maintenance
• Perform job functions in accordance to safety guidelines Requirements and
• Qualifications:
• All requirements and qualifications of a QA Tech
• 2 years of working experience in the quality field
• ASQ Certified Mechanical Inspector a plus
• Calibration experience and inspection knowledge
• Problem-solving skills
• Organizational skills
• Able to work in a team with other departments
• Supervisory skills Observe the safety guidelines
• Train new hires
• Cross training in other departments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
