What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier position at The Gourmet Companies?
Cashier must be able to work in the establishment where they take care of the beginning-to-end ordering process, from asking customers about their orders to processing payment and preparing the requested food. Cashier/Crew members must work together as a team.
Responsibilities
· Cashier, you will be expected to have proficiency in customer service and mathematics. Cashiers will also have to compute and record transactions at your POS (Point of Sale) terminal and count the money that went in your cash drawer. Other key responsibilities include issuing receipts and maintaining the cleanliness of your workstation.
· Cashiers must be always in proper uniform.
· Ensure during your entire shift, strive to provide a high level of service.
· Greet customers warmly, creating a comfortable environment and have a respectful attitude.
· Cashiers may be required to bus tables.
· Replenish serving line and beverage.
· Cashier must keep their workstations clean and organized to satisfy company standards and ensure hygienic food preparation.
· Perform additional duties as assigned by senior management.
This position may require bending, lifting, continuous standing or walking and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40-pounds several times per shift.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
