The Grand Healthcare System is immediately hiring a:
Recruitment Assistant
Excellent opportunity to gain Human Resources experience in the Healthcare field!
Pay Range: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Full-time; Day Shift; Monday to Friday
Valley Stream, NY
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for calls, status updates and other recruitment tasks to assist with hiring and retention of the best talent
- Manages trackers for candidates in applicant process
- Ensures compliance with appropriate governmental and legal regulations, policies and procedures
- Aligns with Corporate Human Resources team on all projects, as directed by management
- Continuously work with recruiters to make sure all staffing needs are being met
- Assists with recruiting events such as job fairs and open houses in Nassau/Queens area
Requirements include:
- As a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent
- Patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm!
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required
- Experience recruiting in the healthcare industry preferred but not required
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System preferred but not required
