Role Overview
As the Certified Caregiver Night-shift Supervisor at The Groves Senior Living, you will supervise the night shift care giving team, ensuring tasks are completed, residents are well cared for, and emergencies are managed efficiently.
Additionally, you will provide direct care to residents, complete housekeeping tasks, and respond to call lights.
Your goal is to meet residents' needs and support the night shift team effectively.
Schedule : Varies / weekends required

Responsibilities
- Leadership : Foster a supportive and positive work environment for night shift employees.
- Supervisory : Supervise night shift caregivers, ensuring all tasks are completed and residents receive excellent care.
- Orientation & Training : Conduct orientation and training for new night shift caregivers.
- Performance Management : Provide performance feedback and coaching to night shift caregivers. Partner with the Health & Wellness Director for disciplinary actions as needed.
- Reporting : Complete and submit daily reports to the Health & Wellness Director.
- Compliance : Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and state regulations.
- Care giving : Provide personal care and medication assistants for residents according to their care plans and physician orders.
Respond promptly to call lights, ensuring resident needs are met.
- Housekeeping : Complete assigned housekeeping and laundry tasks.
- Emergencies / Falls : Attend to any medical emergencies or falls during the that happen during the shift.
Qualifications
- Arizona Caregiver Certification.
- Fingerprint Clearance Card for Assisted Living Facility.
- CPR & First Aid from approved source.
- Food Handler Permit.
- Documentation showing you are free of communicable diseases.
- Test Negative for Illegal Substances.
- Experience supervising or managing other employees.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently.
