Our firm has been engaged to fill a Clinical Lab Scientist position for a flourishing Great Falls, Montana hospital. This is a permanent position within a tight-knit, supportive team with opportunities to grow in compensation and responsibility. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who works with minimal direct supervision, uses independent judgment and has strong decision-making skills. Responsibilities:
- Perform specimen collection involving phlebotomy, culture collection, and/or assisting providers with bone marrows.
- Communicate with staff and patients in accordance with their education level and understanding.
- Assist in the development and writing of new procedures and techniques.
- Perform quality control, confer with department supervisor, and resolve problems before reporting patient results.
Qualifications:
- Credentialed through ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) or AMT (American Medical Technologists) or eligible for such qualification.
- BA/ BS degree from an accredited college or university.
- Current Montana State CLS license or able to obtain after hire.
- Commit to high quality with a focus on safety.
- Discretion in reporting patient results.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
