The Purpose:
To contribute to the success of the community by providing quality nursing care to residents and to coordinate total nursing care for residents by implementing specific procedures/programs and being in compliance with all Touchstone-Communities policies and procedures, state regulations and federal regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide quality nursing care to residents in order to maintain or attain the highest practical level of functioning
- Coordinate total nursing care for the residents as per nursing licensure
- Supervise that certified nursing assistants, certified medication aides adhere to standard job requirements and follow Touchstone-Communities policies/procedures/programs, state regulations and federal regulations
- Follow resident specific plans of care to promote accurate documentation for reimbursement purposes
Qualifications:
- Must have a current and valid Texas LVN/RN license or a current and valid LVN/RN license from a Compact Party State.
