Job Summary
The District Retail Merchandiser role will improve the consumer buying experience by creating merchandising solutions in their assigned stores / territory and maintaining proper inventory levels.

Essential Job Functions :
- Responsible for the proper implementation of plan-o-grams, new item placement, void corrections, stock rotation, and building displays, replacement orders.
- The ideal candidate is a self-starter, quick learner, has a strong attention to detail, and works well in independent situations
- Must possess excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with business partners.
- Overnight Travel may be required
Competencies Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- A self-starter and quick learner who enjoys working both independently and in a team setting
- Someone who is comfortable in changing environments
- Someone who is able to meet the physical requirements of the role, with or without a reasonable accommodation, which include : Standing and walking 3-8hrsLifting up to 40 lbs.
Crouching, bending, twisting, and repetitive hand movements
- Possesses excellent organizational skills
- A strong communicator with the ability to build relationships with business partners.
Education & Experience
- High school Diploma
- 4 year's experience in merchandising
Operational Equipment
Must be computer literate
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Environment varies due to location / store set-up
- May be exposed to cramped quarters, dust, fumes or odors
- Travel required daily
- May have to drive 200 miles daily
- Hand / eye coordination required
- Function vision and hearing required
- Medium, liftin up to 30 lbs.
- Occasionally pushing / pulling up to 100 lbs
