What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Coordinator position at The Hire?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Maintains secure confidential master employee files and updates employee files accordingly.
- Conducts audits to ensure HR information systems are accurately updated.
- Prepares and manages payroll processes, has knowledge of payroll principles, and regulations, basic employment laws, payroll taxes, and audits.
Reconciles weekly benefit changes to the carrier file feed verification reports.
- Sends quarterly reminder communication for new 401(k) eligible participants.
Reconciles monthly insurance carrier invoices to enrollments/payroll records.
- Tracks completion of performance management reviews.
Utilizes electronic tools (I.e. The Hub, employee monitors) for distributing key information to employees.
Handles the FMLA leave administration process from the employees’ initial notice of the need for leave to the return to work.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors while referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Serves as an internal communications liaison providing an integrated approach to build employee morale and foster a positive work environment and culture.
- Assists with organizing Company events.
- Assists with New Hire Orientation and onboarding.
- Responsible for employee uniform wearables, including tracking inventory, order placement, and distribution.
- Responsible for employee gift coordination for life events.
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
