POSITION PURPOSE
The Regional General Manager (RGM) HDE/HDI will oversee, direct, and manage all sales and install operations for Home Depot Exteriors and Home Depot Interiors within a Region. The RGM will execute short and long term regional strategies for the business and will direct all activities and enforce all Home Depot policies. The RGM is responsible for the execution and delivery of stated sales (gross, net, IR, POS) and financial targets (weekly, monthly, and fiscal year). The RGM will lead efforts that ensure a collaborative relationship between the field region and the Operations Center in order to move jobs timely and efficiently through the process and in the best interest of the customer. The RGM will reinforce development and talent management of associates within the business and drive store connectivity at the Assistant Store Manager, Store Manager, District Manager and Regional Vice President level.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
25% - Manages HDE/HDI Regional P&L and metrics to ensure company's assets are leveraged in a manner that maximizes sales and profits as well as driving a high performing sales and install culture that yields a best-in-class customer experience
25% - Leads growth of HDE/HDI through increased appointments (self and store generated), store connectivity, focus on a culture of world class customer service, proper in-home selling, operational excellence and professional installations
25% - Drives talent decisions and retention strategies of high performing teams; drives field execution activities and Operations Center/Support Staff objectives
25% - Coordinates efforts across division with the Regional Vice President to ensure overall company remains leader in the marketplace and industry
NATURE AND SCOPE
This position reports to the Divisional General Manager HDE/HDI. This position has 4 direct reports.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment: Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel: Typically requires overnight travel more than 50% of the time.
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 10 years
Physical Requirements:
Most all of the time is spent sitting in the same position or standing/walking or there is some requirement to lift or handle material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).

Centralized service model or large geography customer management experience
Home Improvement sales/installation experience preferred
3rd party vendor management experience
Prior experience leading remote teams
