The Hutch Agency has an excellent opportunity in our upbeat and fun Proctorville, OH office for a Account Manager - Insurance (AMI). An AMI is a licensed insurance representative that supports customer needs and understands the need for an agency to grow by cross selling, soliciting life insurance and other products.
Banking industry folks usually transition nicely into this position.

Sound good? As this is an inside role in the agency, below are some of the responsibilities:
• Effectively propose P&C and Life insurance policies to potential new clients• Analyze clients’ current policies and be able to identify needs and opportunities• Clearly and thoroughly explain insurance proposals to prospective clients• Accurately and efficiently gather information and make policy changes• Seek out cross-selling opportunities for P&C and Life products• Be comfortable with and able to use social media to promote yourself and the agency when needed• Be able to create, order, and/or manage the agency’s marketing materials, promotional products, and office supplies on occasion
We’d like to find the right person with the following skills and attributes:
• Possess valid P&C and Life/Health Insurance licenses, or be willing to obtain those licenses within 90 days of hire• Preferably 2 years of prior insurance or sales/customer support experience• Familiarity with the Microsoft product suite, Facebook and other social media• Exceptional organizational abilities and be detail-oriented• Time-management of workflow with the ability to prioritize and schedule tasks• A sensitivity to the nuances of communication in both verbal and written form, and the ability to listen, ask probing questions, and document your findings• Grammar and spelling abilities that convey clarity of thought, as well extraordinary phone and email etiquette
