What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bilingual (English/Spanish) Immigration Paralegal position at The Immigration Law Office of David N. Simmons?
Well-established immigration law office has an opening for a full-time, bilingual (Spanish/English) paralegal who can manage assigned cases under attorney oversight, work directly with clients, gather evidence and information, draft applications, and prepare cases to present to the government.
This is not a “support staff” job. The successful candidate must welcome the challenges of producing error-free work in a deadline driven environment and find motivation in coming to work in the office to face new challenges every day.
Preference will be given to candidates with prior immigration paralegal experience. However, we will consider candidates with the right heart for the job.
If you have an associate degree, a paralegal certificate, or commensurate experience; can read, write, and speak both Spanish and English fluently; can communicate professionally and effectively with clients from other cultures and currently reside in the Denver-metro area, we are interested in your resume. Your application will be rejected if you do not currently reside within the greater Denver-metro area.
The starting salary range is $20 to $25 per hour and is based on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes individual coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k Retirement plan with a company match, a generous paid time off (PTO) package, and paid holidays.
We are an equal opportunity employer.
