What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Manager / New Waverly Village position at The ITEX Group?
The Community Manager oversees all operational functions at our New Waverly Village Property in New Waverly, TX. This is accomplished by building positive tenant relations, monitoring occupancy levels and rent collections, maintaining superb property conditions and developing a marketing campaign to ensure the future success of the community. Applicant must have experience in managing affordable housing HUD/Project Based Section 8 properties, fair housing laws, as well as HUD guidelines and requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Schedules, coordinates, and supervises the duties of on-site staff
- Address tenant concerns and needs in a timely manner
- Performs regular property inspections
- Ensure staff follow proper tenant intake procedures
- Ensure money management guidelines are followed
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Requirements
- Three (3) years of experience as a property manager required
- Knowledge of Tax Credit Required
- Knowledge of HUD/Project Based Section 8 Required
- Proficiency with YARDI property management software preferred
- Proficient in MS Office package
- Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance
Education: High School Diploma or GED
