Job Posting for Government Account Manager at The Janz Corporation
The JANZ Corporation is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Medical Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our medical products to government contract officers, healthcare professionals, hospitals, clinics, and other medical facilities. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of medical terminology and products, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
Responsibilities:
Identify and prioritize key accounts and prospective government clients, including hospitals, U.S. military, FBI, and Department of Defense.
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand market share in assigned territory.
Perform thorough daily searches of government contract websites for sales opportunities to fill sales funnel.
Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients in a timely manner, negotiating terms and closing deals.
Attain daily/weekly/monthly sales activity quotas, including phone calls and emails.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts using CRM software (NetSuite).
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients through regular communication, product demonstrations, and educational presentations.
Participate in sales meetings, training programs, and professional development opportunities provided by the company.
Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote JANZ products and services and generate leads.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the healthcare market.
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to provide feedback on customer needs and market trends.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, biology, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in medical sales, preferably in the healthcare industry.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, products, and procedures.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with government contract officers, vendors, healthcare professionals, and key decision-makers.
Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and a high level of initiative.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software (NetSuite).
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
