Position Responsibilities
- Identifies, assesses, and responds to compliance and misconduct risks arising within or relevant to the global enterprise consistent with Boeing’s values, ethical standards, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Skill fully conducts initial intake interviews with reporting parties to gather comprehensive information regarding the reported concerns. Ask relevant questions to understand the nature, scope, and severity of the issues raised.
- Utilize critical thinking and analytical skills to assess the reported concerns. Evaluate the potential impact on the organization's ethical standards and compliance obligations.
- Effectively manage reported cases during the initial intake process; evaluate the available information and evidence to determine the most appropriate resolution for each reported issue.
- Document all case-related activities, communications, and decisions in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Conduct thorough due diligence and risk assessments to identify potential risks associated with reported issues.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, such as legal and HR departments, to assess and mitigate risks appropriately.
- Handle all reported concerns with the utmost discretion and confidentiality. Adhere to privacy regulations and organizational policies governing the handling of sensitive information.
- Maintain accurate records of all case-related documentation and correspondence.
- 5 years of experience in Ethics or Compliance
- 5 Experience working with cross-functional teams
- 5 years of experience leading cross functional teams
- 5 years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partners
- 2 years of experience in monitoring risks and compliance requirements
- Experience working in engineering or manufacturing settings, with involvement in product safety or quality evaluations
- Experience working in a human resources, ethics and compliance, equal employment (EEO), corporate investigations, or legal capacity
- Strong understanding of ethical principles, compliance regulations, and risk management concepts.
- Strong organizational skills and advanced multi-tasking; priorities setting and following a timeline
- Self-starter and can work independently with minimal functional oversight.
- Excellent writing and analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills, including the ability to succinctly summarize matters for cross-functional audiences.
- Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and make sound judgments.
Education / Experience:
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. masters 4 years related work experience, 10 years’ related work experience, etc.).
