Our client based in Duluth, GA is seeking a full time Sales Director. This role manages the entire sales function, from soliciting and quoting to order execution and status monitoring, in addition to, overseeing and driving the overall sales and marketing strategy, including the development, administration, and evaluation of sales plans and budgets. Travel is required 2 weeks out of the month to several of their Southeast offices.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement sales plans and strategies. Utilize sales trend analysis to project sales targets and devise strategies to achieve them.
- Profit Planning: Assist in developing sales and team profit plans to drive financial performance.
- Customer Satisfaction: Monitor and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Address and resolve all inquiries in accordance with company policies.
- Team Management: Recruit, select, hire, onboard, train, and hold accountable the sales staff and team.
- Order Management: Review customer purchase orders for accuracy and compliance with quotations. Maintain sales tracking data for all orders.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field from an accredited college or university. An MBA is preferred.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in sales, customer service, or direct sales, with a preference for candidates from an electrical or manufacturing sales background.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Availability: Ability to work 40 hours per week on a full-time, on-site basis at the Duluth office, Monday through Friday.
- Travel is required 2 weeks out of the month to several of their Southeast offices.
Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
