Our Chandler based client is seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant to analyze the financials related to construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and be able to work across all teams and levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze project budgets, expenses, and financial forecasts.
- Prepare monthly financial reports on project performance and profitability.
- Support the development of project budgets and cost estimates.
- Monitor cost variances and provide recommendations for cost control.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure financial objectives are met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in project accounting or finance.
- Experience in construction or project accounting preferred.
- Proficiency Microsoft Excel required.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and accounting software is a plus.
