GetLegal.com is seeking a full time Sales and Marketing Manager to plan, execute, and oversee sales and promotional activities. The mission at GetLegal is to develop a family of sites that constitute the most useful, informative, reliable and exciting collection of legal resources on the web. We are constantly working to expand and improve many resources we offer to legal professionals and the public. Prior sales experience in a similar online legal service is preferred such as Find Law, Lawyers, or Justia.
This position will also have Sales and Marketing oversight for The Legal Cafe. The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for understanding all products available at The Legal Café and must be able to effectively relay the information to potential clients. The Legal Café is a membership-driven workspace that aims to supplement an attorney’s practice by giving them a place to meet clients, hold conferences, and prepare for hearings. We are located between the courthouses and provide a convenient home base for all members of the profession. The Sales Manager will train new Sales Team Members and relay information from leadership to the Sales Team regarding key metrics.
Duties:
- Lead efforts to increase revenue through event sales and memberships with the cafe
- Develop sales and marketing plan that drives results for GetLegal.com
- Be able to explain the membership packages for The Legal Cafe and all business and video services accurately and effectively and upsell when appropriate
- Build creative partnerships with area businesses that will draw people to TLC
- Answer phone calls and provide information about The Legal Cafe to members and non-members
- Train the sales and marketing teams
Preferred Experience:
- Some college
- Prior legal sales experience
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Must feel comfortable “cold-calling”
