Country Club Accountant

Local Private Country Club is seeking a qualified Club Accountant. The Club Accountant is responsible for all course records, revenue and expense tracking and working with the General Manager in reaching the club’s financial goals as established by the annual budget.

Responsibilities for this position include:

• Performs financial, accounting, human resources, and payroll processing functions by providing reports and support as needed
• Processes monthly member billing and statements
• Maintains and updates data in membership billing system
• Performs reconciliation of daily point of sale revenue, bank, and credit card deposits
• Organize and prepare club accounts payable invoices for submission to corporate home office
• Interacts effectively and in a timely fashion with members and vendors regarding A/R and A/P
• Ensures accurate and timely input of information regarding new and dismissed employees and timely submission of payroll information
• Performs orientation of new personnel
• Monitors and resolves outstanding employee timeclock exception in ADP daily
• Tracks commission and gratuities through ADP payroll.
• Performs orientation of new personnel
• Manage end of month reports for submission to corporate home office.

Job/Skill Requirements:

• Available on weekends for approximately 3 to 4 times throughout the year based upon month end billing and financial reporting due dates
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance is preferred , 3 Years of experience in Accounting
• Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Unquestionable integrity and personal ethics.
• Strong attention to detail, passion for excellence and a great attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Experience:

• Accounting or bookkeeping: 3 years (Required)
