Goretti Nobre, a Liberty Company Insurance Brokers partnership, is in search of their next Sr. Client Advocate to join the team. We are seeking experienced candidates that are very familiar with the New York market and with large contractor experience. This role can be remote or hybrid in our Newark, New Jersey office.
A results-driven person who actively engages customers’ and their needs to ensure optimal
level of customer service. You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every
customer to boost customer satisfaction, customer retention, customer acquisition
and assist in increasing revenue through cross selling opportunities.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Manages overall client relationship to maintain high account retention rate.
- Serve as technical expert to assist department members resolve complex insurance issues.
- Responsible for renewal process on existing business, rounding out existing book of business and occasionally on new business opportunities.
- Identify and analyze client exposures and provide recommendations for deficient and/or new coverages.
- Responsible for program design based on identified exposures and develop appropriate
- Prepare market submission, participate in market negotiations, provide clients with renewal proposals and presentations.
- Responsible for coverage binding and working with the team to have binders, certificates and invoices issued in a timely manner.
- Responsible for collection and maintenance of exposure data.
- Respond to client’s inquiries and provide necessary servicing to meet or exceed the clients’ expectations.
- Meets with clients as needed.
- Review accounting history, respond to accounting inquiries, correct discrepancies, and contact client on receivable collections.
- Collection of premiums, fees, reconciliation, and resolution of any outstanding balances within 90 days of invoicing date.
- Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information).
- Provide mentoring and coaching to departmental staff.
- Create motivational action plans for personnel development in conjunction with defined performance goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 years related work experience
- Thorough knowledge of commercials lines coverages and insurance markets.
- Understanding of commercial insurance underwriting, coverage, and rate analysis.
- Construction and OCIP Experience preferred but not required
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products
- Experience with EPIC/CSR 24/Indio
- Aptitude to adapt and learn technology
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- NY and/or NJ Property & Casualty license.
- Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good problem solving and time management skills
- Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork
- Good planning, organizational and prioritization skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and Applied EPIC
